The type WZ-08 'white' is composed of 99.2% tungsten and 0.8% zirconium oxide and is completely radiation-free. WZ-08 is a special electrode exclusively for AC welding. By adding zirconium lower risk of melt contamination by tungsten parts comparing with the tungsten electrode WP-00.

Application is exclusively for AC welding, DC welding is unsuitable. If X-ray safe seams are requested, this electrode is first choice.
